Bretagne tourist information
where to go - what to see - what to doBrittany lies at the most western tip of France with the rugged coastline being its most dominant feature. It is steeped in Celtic history, myths and legends with prehistoric megaliths that rise mysteriously out of the sea.
Apart from the white sandy beaches, majestic cliffs and tiny fishing villages Brittany is proud of its legendary forests, moors and castles.
Quimper is where Brittany culture is most dominant - crepes, cider and traditional Breton lace are to be found here.
