where to go - what to see - what to doRemiremont lies at the foothills of the Vosges mountains and draws visitors who come to explore some of the unspoiled countryside such as the Etang de la Besace near Dommartin - a paradise for fishing enthusiasts.
Others may prefer to contemplate the fantastic panoramas that can be achieved at the Col de Schlucht, otherwise known as Devils Rock!
Remiremont itself is a particularly attractive town with its arcades adorned with flowers, various fountains and historic abbey. The abbey is surrounded by a historic centre with characterful alleyways and chic boutiques - all of which merits further investigation!
